All of our gate systems are discussed and designed with safety in mind however there is a balance between reliability / usability and safety.
Excess pressure control (either electronic, hydraulic or clutch) is set up as standard and complies to the latest regulations in force where reasonably practical and system design allows. Close boarded swing gates are more likely to require a higher working pressure to allow for windy days.
As the majority of gates are set for automatic closure (after a pre-set length of time) Photo beams are normally fitted to both sides of the gates and will not allow the gates to close if the beam is blocked.
