• Are my existing piers suitable?
    In the majority of cases existing brick piers were not constructed to withstand the extra strains and stresses of automatic gates. By the very nature of the extra strains applied by automation, the gates tend to be thicker and or heavier than standard gates.
    If this is the case then in most instances a decorative steel support post is installed to the rear corner of the pier, this is normally concreted 1 Metre into the ground, off which the gate is hung.
